We'll see what actually happens. The beauty of a road trip is that it is unpredictable. We don't have any reservations for staying anywhere, so we'll see where the road takes us. So far it has taken us to sleep in the Honda Element in a Wal-Mart parking lot on our first night (because it is free to sleep in Wal-Mart parking lots, and we are classy like that). The road has also taken us through about four hours of driving in torrential downpours, the kind where you can't really see more than ten feet in front of you except when the intermittent lightning illuminates the landscape.
