In honor of National Safe Boating Week and specifically Boating Safety Day (did you know such things existed?), the Mission Bay Aquatic Center offered free rentals on Saturday. Matt and I double kayaked around the bay for a couple of hours (which is a great way to build communication skills in your marriage, by the way). When our time was up, we soaked up a bit more of that San Diego sunshine while lying on the sand. Such a beautiful day.
